Stephanie Kelton is Professor of Economics and Public Policy at Stony Brook University and the author of the New York Times bestseller The Deficit Myth (2020). She was chief economist on the US Senate Budget Committee in 2015 and a senior economic adviser to Bernie Sanders's 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns.
