Robert Hockett is the Edward Cornell Professor of Law at Cornell Law School, where he teaches financial and monetary law. A former counsel at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the IMF, he advises members of the US Congress and state legislatures on banking, public finance and industrial policy. He helped draft early Green New Deal proposals with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's office.
