Ndongo Samba Sylla is a Senegalese development economist who heads research and programmes at the West Africa office of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. He co-authored Africa's Last Colonial Currency: The CFA Franc Story (Pluto, 2021) with Fanny Pigeaud and has become one of the most influential voices on monetary sovereignty and the legacy of franc-zone arrangements.
