Mark Diesendorf is an Australian academic and environmental scientist based at UNSW Sydney, where he researches renewable energy systems and sustainability policy. He was founding director of the Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS and is lead author of The Path to a Sustainable Civilisation (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023).
